This is an oil painting of my newest grandson, Freddie. Freddie was only about a week old here. This is painted on a 16x20 canvas.

Top 10 list for beginning painters or someone having trouble seeing colors: (list in progress, still working on a couple)

1. Proper lighting
2. Learn the basic color wheel
3. Keep your palette simple
4. Don’t be afraid to try new things
5. Find artist you like and follow them on their social media
6. Don’t compare your work with anyone else, compare it to work YOU have done in the past.
7. Be honest with yourself
8. Try to avoid using black
