Rings of Power Season 2 Viewership Already Declining

We’ve already gotten the first few episodes for the 2nd season of the Amazon Prime Video series, The Rings of Power, and already it would appear viewership for the Lord of the Rings series is on the decline.

Actual viewership numbers for The Rings of Power Season 2 are not in yet, but judging by the number of user reviews on IMDb it would appear interest in the show has declined. So far this is tracking along a similar path to Rings of Power season 1 which did lose viewers as the season went along. However, declining number of reviews isn’t in and of itself proof of declining viewers.
