Today marks day 205 of my sobriety journey, and I had the powerful experience of listening to Dimash’s "The Story of One Sky." This isn’t just a song—it's more like a short movie that dives deep into the human condition, war, and our belief systems that often lead us to conflict. Before diving into the video, I reflected on my own journey towards sobriety, especially as I approach the 7-month mark. The last time I was close to 7 months sober, I relapsed and fell back into addiction for 2 months, which were some of the darkest times I’ve faced in a long while.

This time, I’ve made significant changes in my life, and I shared what I’ve done differently to reclaim that lost time. Watching Dimash's performance was both inspiring and emotional—it beautifully captures the complexities of life and the tragedies that arise from our differences. It’s a reminder of how strange and divided our world can be when we let belief systems drive us apart. Dimash did an outstanding job with every aspect of this piece, from the music to the storytelling and acting. It’s a hauntingly beautiful narrative that speaks volumes about the human experience.
