Woman Tries Acting Innocent After Shoplifting a Grand Worth of Legos

On January 10, 2023 in Florida, deputies pulled over a woman suspected of stealing Legos from Target. Loss Prevention associates had reported a white female adult with blonde hair had tried leave the store with 7 boxes of unpaid for Legos. When Loss Prevention associates confronted the woman at the exit, she abandoned the merchandise and ran away, fleeing in a red SUV with a broken right window. The value of the merchandise was $1,137.32. Deputies spotted the vehicle a short time later. This is police footage of the events that followed.
