Another special livery of the “Rossiya” airline has appeared.

The Sukhoi Superjet “Murom”, identification RA-89131, on which St. Basil’s Cathedral (Moscow), the Peter the Great Equestrian Monument (St. Petersburg) and the Crimean Bridge (Kerch) have been painted. The one on the left is not the Pioneers’ handkerchief, but a stylised “1”, although in fact it is the same thing, considering that the Pioneers are the “First” (the reference is to the communist organisation for the children of the Pioneers, still present and active with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation KPRF. The current ruling party United Russia has recently established a similar organisation, called “Pervye” (First), with a clear assonance in the name and a certain similarity in the symbolism).

The overall appearance is organic, one of those cases where it matches the colours of the airline.

“Murom” - because Peter and Fevronia were born there and the current year has been declared the year of the family in Russia, and the family is the children following the logic.
Today, August 31, the aircraft in the livery of the “First” departed from Moscow on flight 6804. All passengers of this flight will receive gifts from the “Movement of the First”, gifts that will be a practical addition to the equipment for the new school year [which we remind in Russia starts tomorrow, September 1].
