When Cashing a Check Lands You in Jail

On March 26, 2024 in Florida, officers responded to a convenience store to investigate a potential fraud. The store owner said a woman was trying to cash a check for $2,430.74 that he believed was fake. The woman said she received the check in the mail for creating a Facebook page for a company. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
