Let's dive into what the Bible is all about. It's not just any book—it's the world's top seller, flying off the shelves in over 700 languages! Yeah, you heard that right, seven billion copies have been spread worldwide. And get this, between 2015 and 2019 alone, a whopping 184 million full Bibles were distributed, with a quarter of those downloaded straight from the internet.
So, what's the scoop? Well, "Bible" is Latin for "books" or "scrolls," which makes sense since it's a whole bunch of writings put together. The Bible's been a work in progress for about 1,500 years, kicking off with Genesis and wrapping up with Revelation. Nowadays, the Protestant version packs in 66 books from 40 different authors, all inspired by the big man upstairs.
