Why did I write this song?

“Well, it just came to me after taking a morning jog a few months ago. It's infuriating that we (our society) are in this present "divisive" state. We have a traitorous news media. The worst offenders are the biggies (legacy media): CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, New York Times, Washington Post. There are many more of course. But these are the principle drivers of half-truths, lies by omission and flat out fabrications. If they don't like a position that is different from theirs, often they tag it as a conspiracy theory. Fact, about 90% or so of journalists are politically left-of-center. What does that tell you? They are beginning to be called out, but those voices are not as loud as they need to be. As a moral people, we need to finger point and scorn dishonesty, always. We need to at least attempt to make our fellow citizens aware of the gross lies and inaccuracies that have been “showered” on them for years. Then they can reach conclusions based on facts. Perhaps this song will strike some chords, do some good for those that aren't yet seeing it this way? I hope so!” - Frank L
