Pre-Orders for Assassin’s Creed Shadows are in the Toilet

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been facing a lot of fan backlash since the first trailer was released and now it’s looking like this has resulted in an abysmally low number of pre-orders.

It has been previously reported Ubisoft is happy with the early pre-orders, but this is coming from rumors and no actual numbers have been given. It should also be noted the rumors about the good pre-order numbers came after the Ubisoft Q2 earnings report that sparked investors to dump a large amount of Ubisoft stock since the company was underperforming where it should be. It’s possible the rumors about Assassin’s Creed Shadows having poor pre-order numbers is wrong, but one would think if Ubisoft would have had data to ease the minds of shareholders they would’ve presented that.
