Kamala Harris Blames Trump, Praises Work On Inflation & Doubles Down On Fracking In First Interview

Vice President Kamala Harris sat down for her first interview in more than a month, with CNN, during which she pointed to President Trump when asked about the border crisis, praised the work she and Biden did on inflation and said her positions on policy haven’t changed,
‘Donald Trump got word of this bill that would have contributed to securing our border. He killed the bill.’
Harris said she wants a ‘New way forward and turn the page on the last decade of what I believe has been, contrary to where the spirit of our country really lives with the last decade.’
Dana Bash pushed back saying ‘Of course, the last three and a half years has been part of your administration.’
‘The most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed.’
Harris was also caught off guard when Dana Bash pushed back on Kamala's claim that she's always supported fracking.
‘In 2019 I believe, at a town hall, you said you were asked, would you commit to implementing a federal ban on fracking on your first day in office? And you said there's no question I'm in favor of banning fracking. So, it changed in the in that campaign in 2020?
‘I make very clear where I stand. We are in 2024, and I have not changed that position, nor will I’
