Rev 8:10-11
The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. 11The name of the star is called WORMWOOD; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many died from the waters, because the were made bitter.

Jer 9:13-15
And the LORD said, "Because they have forsaken my Law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice nor walked according to it, 14but have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart and after the Baals, as their fathers taught them," 15therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood and give them poisoned water to drink."

Deut 29:18-19
"... lest there shall be among you a root bearing poisonous fruit and wormwood." 19"And it shall be that when he hears the words of this curse, that he will boast saying, 'I have peace though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart in order to destroy the watered land with the dry."

Matt 5:17-18
Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law.
