UAC continues the #90IAZ column with the story of a truly unique aircraft - the Beriev Be-200

In many ways, it was the Irkutsk Aviation Plant that gave birth to this project, because it was here that the prototypes and the first production models of the aircraft were created.

The Be-200 left a short but very bright mark on the history of IAZ: 2 experimental seaplanes and 7 aircraft for the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) were produced here. The workers of the plant gained experience working with seaplanes and creating prototypes from scratch. Today, serial production of the Be-200 continues in Taganrog on the basis of the T.A.N.T.K. named after Beriev.
