•CREATE A pH13 BASE SOLUTION•

1: Add 12 Cups (2.89 Liters) Tap Water into a 1-gallon jar

2: (Wearing Respirator and gloves) Pour the lye into the water. Immediately stir with a large spoon or a plastic drill mixer. The jar will get hot. Your base solution will be pH13

3: Add Powdered Root Bark

4: Mix the bark into the base solution for 3-4 minutes using a drill mixer (OR) Place a plastic baggie between the jar and the lid to create a better seal. Wrap the jar in a towel and shake it for 4-5 minutes.

5: Heat both the Naphtha and the Base Solution jar using an Electric Warmer to 130F-180F. For safety reasons, avoid using a stovetop. Fill to the rim with Naphtha, leaving little air space to prevent emulsion. (4-liter jar users can fill the empty space with additional water)

6: Wrap the jar in a towel. DO NOT SHAKE! Instead, invert the jar. When you flip it, do it QUICKLY, forcing the rising naphtha to pass through the plant matter and bond with the released DMT as it sinks. If you flip it slowly, the two liquids will only flow around one another and not collect as much of the DMT. Flip the jar 50-100 times. If you use heat for more extended periods, the DMT will be a darker yellow. Then, allow the naphtha to separate.

7: Use a GLASS Turkey Baster to siphon the layer of Naphtha into a jar

8: Transfer the collected naphtha to a glass tray that can be CLAMPED sealed to prevent it from contaminating the food or ice in the freezer. Freeze at the coldest setting for 24 hours

9: Slowly pour off the Naphtha into a mason jar and store it for later. You can reuse the Naphtha 4-5 times

10: Use a cardboard box lined with clean paper on the bottom. Invert the glass tray so it’s upside down and leaning against the inside of the box at about a 30-45-degree angle so it can drain and evaporate all of the Naphtha over the paper. Most of the DMT Crystals should remain adhered to the glass tray. Wait for 6 hours to evaporate all the Naphtha. Then, use a razor to scrape the DMT

•PULLS #2 & #3, REPEAT STEPS 5 THROUGH 10•

Yield should average 1-2%. 300g of bark typically yields 3-5g of DMT.
Naphtha can be reused 5-6 times.

DISPOSAL: Pour the base solution down the drain. It's drain cleaner.
Fan out the naphtha over packed dirt or pavement for quick evaporation.
