So the discussion is no more about what the event was, but subjective garbage, like 'how I was feeling at the time' or 'I did that because I felt this way'...

Don't buy into this feminine imperative. Be a man, look at the facts, the objective events that happened and sort out the right conclusion with rationalism.

That's how you win against an emotional argument.
