The Scarlet Paintbrush (Castilleja miniata) is a species of perennial herb that can be found in Western North America at low to high elevations. The Scarlet Paintbrush belongs to the Orobanchaceae Family and is also known as Giant Red Indian Paintbrush, Meadow Paintbrush, and Common Red Paintbrush.
