How to Grow Out A Pixie

PUT DOWN THE CLIPPERS BRITNEY! I get it. I swear I do. Growing out a pixie is not for the faint of heart. For me the back of my head is growing brilliantly but the front is still pretty compromised after years of bleach. And this shattered Lord Farquad mullet IS NOT THE VIBE I’m aiming for! We had to wait for my hair to grow out about 8 weeks so I had good regrowth to attach the wefts to. Baleigh color matched me and installed 3-4 sets of sandwiched tape ins yesterday to fill in the shattered areas. I could not possibly be happier! I never thought extensions would be for me but never say never because this was 100% worth it! I plan on keeping the extensions till the front of my hair is close to this long/full naturally which will probably be 6-9 months considering the rate of my hair growth. It was a mid sized investment about the cost of two salon trips but you also get what you pay for and I definitely don’t want poorly installed extensions causing more damage than I’m already dealing with.
