The Belgian Wave continued to bewilder Belgians persisting well into early 1990 and reaching a climax in late March of that year.

In the presence of an unexplained entity two brave Air Force pilots embarked on a mission to investigate only to return empty-handed.

While these pilots failed to witness anything unusual, a staggering 143 other individuals claimed to have seen the enigmatic triangular spectacle.

Because one of Ufology's best-known photographs was deemed a fake, many researchers believed the entire wave was faked.

Which it was not.
