Endangered United States Hydraulic Elevator @ Mount Vernon Square Metro Station - Washington DC

Recorded on 8/21/24. Featuring William Scoufaras. We made sure to check out this elevator while were down here as it is the last original United States elevator with the vandal resistant buttons on the Metrorail system! Probably the last one in the entire nation! This elevator is holding up very well and is being taken care of nicely. Yet again, Metro does do a good job at upkeep at their stations. I am glad this elevator is still original and that me and William got to see it in it's original state.
