People who repressed dissidents in Cuba moving to USA

Activists from the Miami-based Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba revealed that former Cuban regime members, involved in repressing dissidents, have exploited the U.S. immigration system to settle in the country amid a mass exodus from Cuba.

The organization has identified 1,015 individuals who harassed and imprisoned critics in Cuba, with 115 of them already living in the U.S.

These include former Communist Party officials, police, and judges.

Victims of repression expressed outrage at encountering their former tormentors in the U.S., warning that these individuals may pose a national security threat, the Miami Herald has reported.
