New video released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shows the rescue of Qaid Farhan Alkadi, the 52-year-old Muslim man held hostage by the Hamas terror group for more than ten months following the Oct. 7 attack.

Israel announced Tuesday morning that it had located Alkadi alone in a tunnel in Gaza. He was taken to a hospital to be checked out, but appeared to be in good health.

One day later, Israel launched a large-scale operation in the West Bank, aimed at targeting terrorists, the Israel Defenses (IDF) said Wednesday. The IDF said it was conducting the operation alongside the Israel Security Agency (ISA) and Israel Border Police.

The Israeli military said it killed at least five armed terrorists amid the operation and took others into custody, as they found weapons, ammunition and military equipment, and dismantled explosives planted under the roads.

The Hamas-run Palestinian Health Ministry claims at least nine people were killed in the operation. The agency does not distinguish between military and civilian casualties.

Trey Yingst at FOX News Channel joined LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to discuss the hostage rescue, the Israeli operation in the West Bank, and other developments out of the Middle East.
