WHO's private concerns over AIDS and chimpanzee-plasma derived vaccines

A book given to participants of the 1982 WHO Symposium in Athens documents their internal meetings discussing the controversy over a possible viral agent in chimpanzee-plasma vaccines. 6 months later, HIV was identified, and the chimpanzee blood used to make the vaccine tested HIV+. Since then, nobody acknowledges that chimpanzee-plasma derived vaccines ever existed. Since they clearly did, we wrote a preprint and seek public review from experts with firsthand information.
