Today we tour New Smyrna Beach, a beautiful 17 mile stretch of wide beach that you can park your car on and still have plenty of room to set up your umbrellas, tents and cooler. We really didn't expect such a beautiful beach that we can literally park our car on! The water stays knee-deep for quite a ways, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Entry to the beach with your vehicle is $20 and you can stay all day. Because the beach is so long (did we mention 17 miles?) there are several entry points, and this hidden gem never really gets full.
