I have tried, relentlessly for many decades, due to personal experiences since the 70s, to speak and bring traction to the focus on ending Abuse in the Family, child abuse, the abuse cycle, healthy relationship skills, healthy boundaries, active listening techniques that was Severely needed within Families AND communities. I was met with resistance every step of the way ever since by those who needed it most.
The Genocide of the Palestinians parallels this issue tremendously.
Vulnerable populations have long been sacrificed, framed as "guilty" of something, cast in the role of "subhuman" "terrorist" BY the Real Terrorists, of which there is No escape.
The Family, child abuse has been a Clear micro of the Macro corruption and abuses. My gratitude for the Palestinian people who have endured Such horror for 75 years, who take the brunt of the abuse for the world, who brought the issue of the Abuse of vulnerable populations, TOO long normalized in the US, before the eyes of the world, no matter how much it's denied.
Abused children have also taken the brunt, bore the "guilt" and "shame" FOR their Abusers who get enabled and excused leaving a wake of destruction.
