Replacing your XC90's tailgate handle is likely something you'll have to do as a long-term owner. The XC90's split tailgate is part of what makes the SUV so functional, but its upper handle can break due to the elements. Inside the plastic handle is a small steel rod that'll get rusty and swell up, causing the handle to stick. The only repair for the sticking handle is a very straightforward replacement.
