LA State Treasurer John Fleming, M.D., issued a response to on-air commentary by WWL-TV Clancy DuBos

On Thursday, August 15th, Louisiana State Treasurer John Fleming, M.D., issued a response to a critical on-air commentary delivered by WWL-TV Political Analyst Clancy DuBos.

DuBos blasted Dr. Fleming’s recommendation that the Interim Emergency Board should not select Bank of America as a fiscal agent for the State of Louisiana. He claimed that Dr. Fleming cared "more about culture wars" than economic development.

Of course, this is a totally false charge and Dr. Fleming’s recommendation is based on politically motivated de-banking being done by Bank of America among other reasons.
