Crazy Little Chihuahua Is Not So Crazy After All

If you have a dog, you are probably familiar with the strange behavior characteristic of dogs after getting a bath. What are the reasons for this strange behavior? The exact answer remains a mystery, but there are several theories explaining why the bathroom has such an effect on animals.

There is a quite an obvious answer: the dog is just trying to wipe the excess water off. Animals do not understand that you can use a towel, they just feel uncomfortable, because wet fur clearly does not the give the most pleasant feeling. Therefore, running out of the bathroom and trying to rub off on the floor or bedding is the perfect solution. In the end, do you really believe sheets are much different from a towel?
Then, perhaps showers are pleasant to us but they rob the dog of the familiar scents. The smell of dirt, grass and the old bone hidden behind the bush (yes, each dog has one, start looking), is what your dog prefers to the smell of even the most expensive dog shampoo.
