Ep 3 - Farm purchase delayed due to Red tape due to being an agricultural property!

When we put an offer on the old farm, we did not realise that (Societies of Land Development and Rural Establishment) (Safer) could intervene and buy it from under our feet and at minimal cost to them. It is a system to safeguard agricultural from development. As this property and land has not been in use for agriculture for over 10 years, we should be ok to develop into our gite project and nutritional business. We would also start bee keeping and produce cider (apple and pear) from the orchard. As the Farm is not habitable, we took the decision to buy a property close by to renovate and live in and to use as a base of operation.
We want to document our journey throughout and will take any advice going forward, I am still trying to come to terms with spending so much time learning the editing process and learning French at the same time. But, he who dare's wins as Delboy once said.
