Chinese Military Plane Breaches Japanese Airspace Briefly

08/26/2024 CNA: Japan's defense ministry confirmed that one Chinese military aircraft entered Japanese airspace for about two minutes on Monday morning. It has identified the aircraft as a Y-9 intelligence gathering plane and it's the first time a Chinese military aircraft violated Japanese airspace. Japan's foreign ministry has summoned the Chinese acting ambassador to Japan to lodge a complaint.
