2024-08-26 Fort Worth: If this is a blended Scotch channel, why am I reviewing 2 Single Malts? Because 1) These are key components of the 2 blended Scotches I have just reviewed (Dewars White and Isle of Skye 8) and 2) Because I have them so why not!? Doing a blind challenge with these 2 whiskies is tough! I like them both and they are like apples vs. oranges. One is peated and has a maritime influence, the other is nice gentle, smooth Highland. On a different day I would likely choose the other as winner...
