In September 2023, a video of an "emergency zoom" meeting between union leaders from various Canadian unions was leaked. It demonstrated that unions were perfectly happy to denounce ordinary parents and attempt to silence their democratic right to free expression. Emily Quayle, Vice President of CUPE 4600 accuses parents of being fascists. Is this really the role of unions?
