Someone Face-Swapped John C. Reilly On Their Baby And It's Awkward

Ah, boredom. So many bright ideas have come out because of it, one being the FaceSwap app. You take a friend, point the camera towards you and the software take out your respective faces and “mounts” them on the other. People went nuts over it - some even went to such extent as to face swap with faces on paintings, even the outlets on the walls of their house! It was fun and cute in the beginning, but then it took a turn for the bizarre.

Then, there was the option where you can superimpose some celebrity’s face onto your own. Sure, most of the times it wasn’t as successful as the creators have thought of it, but hey, anything for laughs, right?

Well, voice actor and comedian Joe Gaudet took his baby daughter and used the FaceSwap app to superimpose actor John C. Reilly’s face on the girl; the result is not even remotely adorable.

Alright, we admit it is kinda cute, plus the way Gaudet impersonates Reilly is pretty hilarious. "Wait, wait a second Dad...You don't happen to know where my, my baba is do you?" he says, making the tiny human look like a miniature version of Dr. Steve Brule in a pink onesie.

The question on all our minds is - why do we find this so uncomfortably funny?

While on the subject of stuff that are both funny and sort of uncomfortable, a set of identical twin brothers tried face-swapping with each other. The result turned out to be both extraordinary and nothing in particular. Other than their features facing the opposite directions, it doesn’t look like the software made any difference whatsoever!
