Today we are going to take another look at the evidence for the existence of Mecca in the 7th century. Members of this weekly panel have spent hours and hours researching the data that would point towards the existence of Mecca in the 7th century. PROBLEM: There isn’t any.
If Mecca did not exist in the 7th century, what are the implications for Islam as a faith system? If the very place where Muhammad received his “revelations”, Muslims bow towards 5 times a day, where they make a pilgrimage too did not exist, this would destroy the faith of countless millions of believers.
In today’s show you are not only going to be shown the absence of evidence, you are going to be shown WHY there is no longer any evidence.
