This MiG-17 fighter has no side number designation although it previously had “83 red”

The surface is entirely metallic in color. Installed in Mozyr, Gomel region, on the town hill along Internacyjanaĺnaja street on a pedestal facing upwards (the landing gear is in a partial extension stage); on the front end of the pedestal there is a black stone tablet with the inscription: “Established in honor of the pilots of the 16th Air Force aircraft who took part in the liberation of the city of Mozyr from the Nazi invaders in January 1944."
