Three Utah tourists, Jeannine Skinner, 34, David Bell, 48, and Pete On, 48, tragically drowned while canyoneering at the Seven Teacups trail in California’s Tulare County.

The incident occurred when Jeannine jumped into a small pool and got trapped in a whirlpool. David and Pete attempted to rescue her but were also caught in the strong current.

Despite efforts to perform CPR, all three lost consciousness and did not survive. Their bodies were recovered the following day.

The trio is remembered for their adventurous spirits and strong bonds with family and friends.

A marathon and a dance event will be held in their honor, and a GoFundMe page has been set up in memory of David Bell, the Daily Mail has reported.
