Australians Support Kamala Says the ABC

According to a recent article by Australia’s taxpayer-funded ABC, if Australians alone decided the outcome of the US election – I know, a ridiculous notion – but if Australians voted, apparently Kamala Harris would win by a landslide. In a survey conducted by Talbot Mills Research, 1,000 Australians were asked: If you were eligible to vote in the American election, who would you vote for? 48% of respondents said they would vote for Kamala Harris, while 27% would vote for Donald Trump, with others not voting or unsure, or would vote for a third party candidate. Of course, they had to highlight gender differences with lead pollster David Talbot saying, “We also saw a decided gender gap with men more likely to support Trump and women Harris.”

With regards to political affiliation, Labor voters were most likely to support Harris at 59% with Greens voters coming in a close second at 58%. One Nation voters were the least likely to support Kamala Harris. On the flip side, One Nation voters were the most likely to support Trump at 58%. Interestingly, 17% of Greens voters said they would vote for Trump over Kamala Harris. That’s quite telling, isn’t it?

But that’s just one polling firm who surveyed 1,000 Australians. I also did my own polling on YouTube back when Biden was still in the race more than a month ago. 59% of respondents favoured Donald Trump compared to 3% Biden, with RFK Jr. polling pretty well at 15%. After the Democrats kicked out Biden, and Kamala Harris became the new nominee, I ran another poll showing Trump continuing to have a commanding lead at 63% to Kamala’s 4%. And then I just ran another poll today after RFK Jr. said that he’d no longer be campaigning having removed himself from the ballot in 10 critical swing states, and endorsing Donald Trump, again, Trump has furthered his lead over Harris, 73% to 4%.

Interestingly, the Guardian are reporting that the group Muslim Women for Harris announced they were disbanding and withdrawing their support for the Democratic nominee. Presumably, Muslim men hold a similar view?

Also in my independent polling, I found that Ronald McDonald, Mickey Mouse, and Daffy Duck have all been polling relatively consistently at around 20% or more. The only question is, who would you rather in the White House: a clown, an anthropomorphic mouse, or a talking duck?
