In 2018 ‪Buzz Bee Toys‬ introduced a dart featuring a unique design that in the end offered the most precise and consistent characteristics especially when compared to the typical imprecise nature of most foam darts launched from blasters.

Nerf's so called "Elite" dart was the unexpected catalyst for this, by simply being so bad that one specific machinist and inventor got sick and tired of not being able to hit what he aimed at when participating in friendly family dart battles. The 70 some year old Dale Isenmann decided to come up with something better, and after being turned down by Hasbro, went to the far more open minded folks at Buzz Bee, and then the rest is now history...
