The Search for a DIY Boatyard | Ep. 262

Good Do-It-Yourself boatyards are not easy to find, especially given the limitations of a liveaboard cruiser (e.g. you don't have a car). Youngs Yard didn't fit the bill thus sending me on a search around the upper Chesapeake Bay for a suitable place to haul for annual maintenance. Finally settled on Long Cove Marina on the Chester River, which, incidentally, is the yard where I first fitted out Ruth Avery back in 2001.
