What's in my Pack part-5 "Optics + Navigation" Zeiss EDF 7x40BGA Binocular F.Barker M-73 Compass

A quick line-up of Optic instruments like different Binoculars, magnifying lenses, Sun-dial clock and other small items that make live much easier on a trail, which making a difference in staying on track or getting lost.
One or the other option for choice to be carried in my pack, why and for what reason.

For once I carry a ex-DDR East-German Carl Zeiss EDF 7x40BGA (Docter Binocular), this was taken over by a West-German Optic company called Docter based in Wetzlar near the Leitz/Leica company in 1991. So the parts of the ex-military Carl Zeiss EDF 7x40BGA was used to create a civil version of that very same original Carl Zeiss Binocular and sold as Safari hunting Binocular, suitable for expeditions in the most demanding climates. the other smaller hand size Bino is a "Docter compact 8x21 Bino" as well as the "Docter 8x21 Monocular" which is based on the original Carl Zeiss spy monocular... just the modern version of it.
The large Spectiv Telescope Optic is the famous hunting "Spectiv Nickel Marburg 15-60x" from the 60th.

The original EDF can still be found as an updated version with “clear” glasses instead of the original yellowish tinted military issued lenses marked now under the name Noblex formerly Docter still produced in Germany:

As for the Compass I do carry the most famous "Francis Barker M-73" all brass marching compass made for the British MoD since WW1, the last version, the F.Barker M-73 is made and sold by London Pyser-SGI Ltd Company: https://pyseroptics.com/defence-new/francis-barker-compasses/
