Body Cam - 38 yr old Sushi Staples - Son Zion in trash in her garage

Sushi Staples, a 38 yr old woman from Rock Island, Illinois was released on parole July 25th. She was convicted of endangering the life of a child after her 10 yr old son (Zion) was found dead in her garage. She was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to the child endangerment charges. Investigators found the body of her son in a trash can in the family garage following a shooting incident in December 2022. She will remain on probation until Jan 2025.
