Angle of Twist - Engineering

This engineering video cover a tutorial on deriving the angle of twist of a circular shaft subjected to an applied torque. The angle of twist is related to the shear strain, which is constant along the length of the shaft. The rate of twist can also be obtained by differentiating the angle of twist and is a useful quantity for also analysing shafts with a non-circular closed section under torsion.
