Cherry Coffee Cake

This Cherry Coffee Cake is a moist and tender crumb Butter Cake with a vein of Cherry Pie Filling in the center. The reverse creaming method makes an exceptionally tender crumb.
Use any flavor Pie Filling you like.

2 Cups AP Flour
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
8 TBSP Softened Butter
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 Tsp Almond Extract, optional
2 Large Eggs
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 21 ounce can of Pie Filling
COFFEE CAKE CRUMB TOPPING
1/2 Cup AP Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts
