Alleged Sandpoint Arsonist Competency Evaluation

Here is audio from the August 21st competency evaluation of Jennifer S. Meyer who is accused of setting fire to the Army Surplus Store in Sandpoint, Idaho, on July 4, 2024.

Judge Heise signed an order to admit Ms. Meyer to the Department of Health and Welfare for 90 days to conduct an evaluation of her mental health at which point a 180-day extension may be filed or possibly a continuance.
