Steele & Avi - Waterloo trail ride - 23 Aug 2024

By the end of this his 4th Waterloo trail ride Steele has logged 122 road and trail miles from 24 July - 23 Aug 2024 inclusive - while he was in training with me. That is because I truly believe that in addition to solid foundational training it takes REAL miles going somewhere to make a good horse. On this trail ride Nolund rode Steele and Jack rode his personal horse, Avi. We staged at the Horsemens Camp staging area - ate lunch at Codyville Pines - crossed the Sand Flats at a walk - waded down the Creek about a quarter mile - got Steele up front to cross the bridge then turn around and cross back - had Steele lead across at the Creek Crossing - then with Avi in the lead waded a quarter mile down the Creek - cantered across the Sand Flats - cantered up the now wide and smooth Switchback trail (on well conditioned horses) - took a rest break at the top - walked the horses back to Horsemens Camp to arrive cooled out. Had a GREAT ride. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!

Remember to intentionally, on purpose, learn of God each day by prayerfully reading, studying, and pondering upon God's word each day. Talk to God in prayer as your Heavenly Father who would like for you to be His friend. Find out what He would like you to do for Him as His friend and go and do it for Him as His friend.
