Israel’s Success in Paris Olympics Serve as Lesson to Middle East: Pursue Peace, Not Extremism

At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Israel is on a roll, winning a record number of medals from its athletes. But beyond bragging rights, the Jewish State has sent a powerful message to the despotic and theocratic regimes in the Middle East, particularly in Tehran: that when a country prioritizes peace, its own people will benefit.

That message must be taken, not just by the peoples of the Middle East, but by news outlets around the world, because the more that they blur the distinction between liberal countries and fanatical ones, the more they serve to oppress hundreds of millions of people in the Middle East.
