Debunking the Myth: The End of Snow Is Not Near

Contra the doom and gloom in media reports every year touting the end of snow, the average northern hemisphere snowpack has increased since the short decline in the mid-1980s. The only season that has seen a decline is spring, particularly in Eurasia, but it is not enough to change the overall trend, and definitely not enough to herald the rapid approach of an "end of snow."
