Barry Jones is a twenty-years-plus high school history teacher in Tennessee – near Nashville. Without exception, the most popular topics covered in his classrooms have been the JFK assassination and the Watergate Scandal and all things related to both. Barry joins me again to discuss his recent transition to independent teacher to escape the constricting nature of state standards (most state standards don't even include the JFK Assassination) and state tests which have turned high school history curricula into little more than "teaching to the test" exercises. Barry explains throughout this episode the fault of the intelligence agencies and Warren Commission during the investigation of President John F. Kennedy's assassination.
