As of August 22, 2024, Andrew Tate has been placed under house arrest in Romania following a raid on his home as part of a new investigation into human trafficking and sexual exploitation involving minors. The Romanian anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, executed multiple search warrants and detained six individuals, including Tate and his brother, Tristan, who is under judicial control for 60 days. The court has mandated that Andrew remain under house arrest for 30 days. Outside the court, he dismissed the allegations, claiming they are part of a deliberate attempt to tarnish his reputation. This legal turmoil follows their initial arrest in December 2022 on similar charges, which they have consistently denied. The latest allegations suggest they used the "loverboy" method to manipulate victims into producing pornography, generating significant profits from these activities. As of now, a trial date has not been set, and the Tates remain under scrutiny as the investigation continues.
