Thousands protest U.S. support for Israel on last day of DNC

Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered to protest U.S. support for Israel as it wages war in Gaza on the last day of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Thursday (August 22). A group of pro-Palestinian delegates to the Democratic National Convention staged a sit-in outside the United Center in Chicago, where the convention entered its final day, demanding a Palestinian American be allowed to speak.
