Camping From My Motorcycle | Riding in the Back Country

I have been wanting to take a motorcycle road trip and do some motorcycle camping. After buying my Goldwing, I was planning on using that. However, it was not ready in time so I ended up using the BWM 1100RT for my first real motocamping adventure. My dad was able to go with me and took his 1977 BMW R100/7 which is an awesome bike. It was fun to get time with him and to explore the back country of Baldwin Michigan. We even found some dirt roads to attempt, which did not turn out as we had planned.

I highly recommend this area if you’re looking to do a motorcycle camping trip. There are a ton of gravel roads to take your bike on and some nice paved ones to cruise.
