Minn Kota Ultera Lifting Belt install

Threading the new lift belt the fast way. Tried this with the old belt. Worked out and did not take over 1 minute.
New belt I bent the end backwards just a little. Away from the teeth on the belt. That way when it started into the gears it was heading the right way.
As for the rubber piece I used in my drill. I used a 1/4" bolt, stuck into a walking stick end, diameter of 11 mm 0.43 inch. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099N2FJ9G?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1
Next I used a I think it was a 1" cane tip as the outer section. I did have to wrap the small one with a few wraps of electrical tape to tighten the fit up.
Doing it this way, I did not remove all the stuff others do. I took the top of the part the belts does into. Also the top of the trolling motor. Along with the lower belt clamp. No reason to remove the trim motor.
